So far no Mew Gull around the Kohls's/Bensonhurst Park waterfront area in
Brooklyn. A Glaucous Gull is keeping me company in the parking lot while I
continue to look.

For what it's worth, there are generally multiple thousands of Ring-billed

hundreds in the Sheepshead Bay and Marine Park area a little east of there.
There are also usually a few hundred between the Owls Head wastewater plan

The Mew Gull could not be located in the vicinity of Bensonhurst Park along

I found the Mew Gull actively feeding in the water further south than

opposite the Exit 5 sign on the Belt Parkway. This spot is where the rock

The Mew Gull was present in the same location (just south of the
pedestrian bridge) around noon today as well. It stuck around for
about 20-30 minutes, then flew off with the rest of the group. I lost
it as it went behind the trees on the opposite side of the belt parkway.

previously described by Shane Blodgett. It was foraging with several dozen
Ring-billed Gulls, but it disappeared when I went back to the ball
