The TV count circling fairly low above downtown Croton-on-Hudson I would
estimate reached 150-175 this morning 7 am. There were a lot of ahs from folks
going in for coffee at The Black Cow

This afternoon, while on a non-birding trip to Rocky Point, I came across 5
T.V's. on & over the sod field located in Wading River, at the intersection
of Route 25 A & Hulse Landing Rd. Four of them were on the ground,
clustered around a carcass (with only one actively feeding) while the fifth

Tonight at 6:45 PM, I had 9 T.V's. flying low between the LIRR tracks at
Ostrander Ave, and E. Main St., near the L.I. Aquarium/ Atlantis Marine

After not seeing any T.V's at the Riverhead roost for about a week now, and
thinking they had moved on, I was quite surprised to see 7 flying at low
altitudes near the roost at ~ 0750 Saturday. Although I couldn't stop to
see how many might have returned, I did manage to see 2 more ~ an hour

I just came back from the Miami-Dade area in Florida. It was rare not to
see Turkey Vultures in the sky at any time during the day. I was told that
hundreds of them collected over the entrance

Yesterday around noon there was a Turkey Vulture flying low just west
of Mattituck on Rt 58 and another one perched on a lamp post east of
Mattituck.
An American Kestrel dove at the junction of Northville Tpk and Rt. 58,
I couldn't see whether it was a hit or a miss.

guardrail down by the lighthouse in Montauk. It was amazing...of course,
the one day I leave my camera at home. I wonder where they're headed next.
