Yes it fits. As do all advanced design hoods. The only difference is the holes
for the emblems.

Hood Metal fits same. The emblems are different. The Emblems are all diff on
55-2, seems a waste for 1/2 year, and the trans is open driveshaft, not torque
tube. That's about only diffs.

54 will fit the 55 1st series for the same truck model and brand (chevy 1/2
ton to 1 ton). The only differences between the two years for chevy are the
model "badges" on the sides.
