I got the cab off the '49 today. I'll pull the engine and bring the frame bare in the coming weeks. This time around I'm gonna have a painted frame to start with. No more of that rust crap. Suffered through that on the last one and the restoration wasn't even of a quality I would desire. S

Just my 2 cents worth. Other than my old '47-2, I've driven Hondas for the past 20 years. My philosophy has always been, replace the battery when it failsnot before. Of course, I live less than a mile from places I can buy a new battery. If you're concerned that the battery might fail on
