Carb has teensy air leak inside, if you take the choke off, one of the 3
legs has a hole in it. {Don't take the choke off just to see that,
practice on a scrap carb!} You are supposed to put a plastic nipple in
that when you put the choke housing on the carb, otherwise, the air draw
will

I have worked with Keith or Mac on a couple projects, a GTO
calendar and a GTO book cover for a
book he authored. He can be trusted and has worked on email and ebay
scamers for couple years
now. This is from the GTO
Any suggestions on which repros fit best would certainly be
appreciated.
Thanks,

Well, we've long since gotten rid of the car.
Which might've been a mistake, because we were afraid at the time it would
nickel and dime us to death given the miles on it.
Wound up buying another, same year, model, and motor, with only about 68K
miles, which dropped dead at 90K.

Bryan,If your not concerned about the old one, use a BIG pair of channel locks or vise grips and keep turning on the old one until it comes out. It's not threaded. I've taken them out before this way. To put the new one in, use a block of wood and a few good knocks with a hammer should seat it
Somehow I bent my trans pan in the front guess on a steep embankment, could I just get a block of wood and hammer it back up or do I need to pull it down and pound it back or just replace it?
