Carb has teensy air leak inside, if you take the choke off, one of the 3 legs has a hole in it. {Don't take the choke off just to see that, practice on a scrap carb!} You are supposed to put a plastic nipple in that when you put the choke housing on the carb, otherwise, the air draw will

Bryan,If your not concerned about the old one, use a BIG pair of channel locks or vise grips and keep turning on the old one until it comes out. It's not threaded. I've taken them out before this way. To put the new one in, use a block of wood and a few good knocks with a hammer should seat it
