I just checked all of these. Pulled the belt off and spun each by hand.
After spinning the idler pulley, it has a small clicking noise. Not sure
if that would be it or not, as I'm not able to spin it fast enough and
consistently enough to emulate engine speed.

new serpentine belt. While I was there, I asked the guy if he could get
an alternator down and let me hear what it sounds like when it spins.
He gets one down and spins it. It didn't make one full revolution before

Your blower motor probably just needed oil, though
running it that way for a year doesn't help the
bearings.
A new bearing and maybe brushes would have
probably fixed your old alternator.

I was thinking maybe bearings in the water pump or alternator?
Yes, that's it. Water pump bearing first guess, alternator front bearing
second. After the bearing warms up enough, it quiets a little.
