I tested Fink and was not able to make it work properly:
* I find difficult to have fink.conf and /sw/etc/apt/sources.list
settings.
* Binary packages should exist for 10.5 PPC.
Example: http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/openssh
But I was not able to find a mirror with these packages.
