Hi,
as far as i remember, the PKCS#11 driver has to use
CKF_PROTECTED_AUTHENTICATION_PATH to indicate to the application that it shall
not prompt for the PIN itself. Seems that this is not the case for your reader.
The question is how OpenSC decides on whether to use the flag, i am pretty sur
Hi,
could someone explain to me the use and sense of the hack_enabled flag in the
OpenSC PKCS11 sources ?
It seems to me that this per default causes only one slot to be permitted for
each smart card, right ? But why is that ?
Thanks in advance,
Brandy
Hello,
I have problems compiling the trunk under windows, and one of the problems
seems to be related to gemsafe modules. Maybe someone has encountered the same
problem and knows how to fix it.
The compilation fails due to the error

Hi,
problem is there ain't no easy fix. We fixed it in our own PKCS#11
implementation by writing an "intelligent" process which allocates / frees the
card (reader), but at the price of having some platform dependent code there
now.
I think the real problem is that some apps do not release th

Dear OpenSC Admins,
i have created a patch for the Austrian A-Trust ACOS card, since an updated
card generation is under way (with 2 more possible ATRs), and i have also fixed
a minor bug. Please apply it to the next major release.

automatically switches lock_login to
True in case of an ACOS card ?

Hi,
afaik the 4.15 firmware contains an error in the secure pin verification over
PC/SC. there should be a newer firmware and driver available from SCM.
it might well be that the device works with the seccommerce software, but maybe
they have adapted their software to the problem.
best regards
... what exactly are you looking for in the specs ? :-)

Hello,
as far as i know, it is not possible to support the ECDSA algorithm in OpenSC -
at least it was not a while ago when i made a basic implementation of the
Austrian "Bürgerkarte" based on ACOS.
Apart from that, integration might be easy since the e-Card has a PKCS#15
structure on it; may
yes, exactly. do you know whether the CNS card follows the concept, too ?

Is it possible that the Italians require SM to be used for secu

Hi all,
i am playing around with an Austrian e-Card (health care card), and i came
across a characteristic of the card which i'm a bit confused about.
The card does have a EF(DIR) in the MF, which perfectly contains the aid's of
the card applications.
Problem ist - all the application DF's do
