Installed OpenSolaris 09/06 on an AMD x64 machine.
When I startup firefox, all text and buttons show an unexpected
background (turquoise blue) colour.
Even the text in the address bar, the menu item names on top,
tab names and all buttons and all text have this background.

If you install the Nvidia drivers you get the Nvidia Xsettings tool installed
in Gnome (System->Preferences->NVIDIA X Settings)
There you find a tab labeled "Thermal Monitor" (which says 46 Celcius as Core

machine but it is not so powerful to do it :-/.
Unfourtunately, I cannot leverage Sun's servers to do
portin because there are graphics components, too.

I'm really hoping that Oracle will keep OpenSolaris going and strong. There
appear to a good number of books available for administering the OS and I would
like to learn to do that.
Time will tell.
I think if Oracle is smart, and I have doubt they are, they will keep it going
and integrate Ora

Is there plans to implement a ACL GUI? If not I really have to wonder
why. I am wanting to build an OpenSolaris NAS (because of ZFS) for a
client of mine but without a GUI, I can see my support calls
increasing quite a bit.
