Is there any equivalent of linux libasound library (from alsa) on OpenSolaris,
or is there a way to get it compiled on OpenSolaris. I tried the compilation
but get the following error that seems to say it's looking for a specific linux
header file:

I'm getting messages about gnome-keyring-daemon:

I haven't purposely started such a daemon, nor do I care
It usually gets started by the session manager, just gnome-settings-manager,
etc..

may not be installed at all.
