thank you for the walkthrough. I've a couple of questions.
Can you give me a diskspace requirement summary? How much do the various stages
cost in terms of disk space? And can certain parts be placed on another pool?
My boot devices are very small, 18GB, so diskspace is a scarce resource.

It depends on the type of virtualization one needs. If you only need the same
kernel, then lightweight Solaris Zones, AIX WPARs, or FreeBSD Jails will suit
the task at hand.

Sun Studio Express 6/10 is not officially supported on OpenSolaris distros <=
ON snv_b138 due to the installer and few library updates needed. You can use
the 'tarball' to do the basic installation.
The other thing is installing NetBeans 6.9 properly - it comes with NetBeans
6.8 suppor
You'll have the integrated NWAN solution, ZFS bug fixes, and improvements in
802.11n support.
You can also:
1. Update the NWAN GUI and Java JDK.
2. Update grub.conf as needed.
3. Test installation of NetBeans 6.9 and Glassfish 3.0.1.

forum.
I installed a fresh copy of OpenSolaris, from the blastwave b134 LiveCD(because
update to b134 from 2009.06 doesn't work). I installed the compilers, and
onbld per instructions, and set up the sources, cloned
So there is no direct way of updating this from 2009.06, you have to have b134
installed first?
