I took everyones advice from like a year ago, and added a gig of ram
to my U10 333, so I could run Solaris 10, ultimately so I could play
with ZFS.
Performance is acceptable, but I'd like to jump to an x86 and Nextenta
(for better h/w performance, and because x86's are more versatile, and
I booted a Solaris 10 DVD using boot cdrom at the OBP prompt. The
command failed. So then I tried boot cdrom -s to boot the CDROM in
single user mode. That worked. I was able to install Solaris 10
w/out issue.
When the machine tried to boot off the hard drive, it failed. This is

I have a Sun Ultra 10 with only 128 MB of memory. I intend to run some
kind of solaris kernel on it (closed or open) and ZFS - at home, as an
experiement. Suggestions?
ZFS is only supported by Solaris 10 and Open Solaris. Solaris 10 with
ZFS requires 512MB RAM, so that won't work.
