Hi, Shawn, You've been a great help. Thank you. I sucessfully installed ss-dev, mySQL-5 and OSOLvpanel-mysql. I also updated the system because of the other problem and re-booted. Now, for some reason, I don't see a way to start either C++ IDE or mySQL GUI from GNOME menu or panel. Can you help

Hi, swa, After the installation on the desktop I see the icon that says: Add More Software. I was talking about this. If I understand you correctly you are talking about this: Open console window and manually run those 2 commands under the root. Am I right? Thank you. P.S.: I forgot about
