Try logging into an xterm session from the login screen, then run
% dbus-launch --exit-with-session gnome-session --debug
This should cause the desktop to show up, but you will be able
to see the debug output of starting gnome-session in the terminal
window.

I've got a real problem since svn_132.

Time between login and the appearance of the desktop is almost 1 minute.

System becomes unusable because gconfd-2 uses 2,1 GiB of my system memory.
Hope someone could help me with this.
