and/or NFS services between two
ESXi hosts.
In terms of performance, license and (free) support

there is no support for nexentastor ce, only upgrade to testing. support is
only offered on the enterprise edition.

Yes but the community edition tops out at 12 terabytes so that should be
sufficient for most home uses.

If such a restriction exists, then Nexenta is not OpenSource compliant.
