After trying to remember which Solaris release it was, I now remeber that
mirroring itself hadn't been the issue. The issue was that live-upgrade was
unable to install the boot block on the alternate boot environment in such a
scenario. But there were some edge conditions which I don't remember

Yes I understand I have a far better chance of timely Xorg support for
arbitrary commodity hardware. I've read some negative press about the
Xorg server as compared to Xsun
