I made some progress with this. I had the wrong proxy server name. However in Mozilla I put the name in to the proxy server and use 8080 but it will not go out. If I put the IP in and use port 8080 it goes out just fine. The cmd line to install openoffice wont work either Checked DNS forward

Not to sound stupid but how do i do that at the os level? Do you meen in my /etc/profile? I set it in the Mozilla setting. I have downloaded the package from openoffice.org and that wont install either. This message posted from opensolaris.org
