I'm having difficulties getting imaps and pop3s to work.
Has anyone on this list was successful?
I've done everything from compiling OpenSSL-0.9.6
w/ imap-2000a. Placed all port entries within
/etc/services as well as /etc/inetd.conf. The certs
for the serv
Can someone provide an example of the -verify depth option
for s_client. I'm trying to verify the cert/key and don't know
what arg for the depth to use. This is what I have so far:
openssl s_client -connect localhost:993 -verify

OpenSSL Project
Is there an option to openssl that enables you to set the bit to 128?
I want to generate the cert using the CA.pl script, but by default
it sets the bit to 40. I'd like to set the bit to 128. Can someone
provide the syntax for this option?

So, in a nutshell openssl doesn't have the ability to create 128-bit
self-signed CA's?

I'm having problems importing certs under RedHat Linux/Netscape 4.7.
It bombs w/ invalid format, even though I've created *.p12 using pkcs12.
Am I missing something? since this is UNIX do I copy the *.pem to *.p12?

BTW, importing pkcs12 into Windoze works as expected.
You can also download the ANDIrand pkg for Solaris 2.5.1 - 2.8 SPARC
as well as 2.5.1 - 2.8 x88pc. This supports /dev/random and dev/urandom.
