Just wondering if most people are using Suse 10 OSS RC1 or the 9.3 stable... I would like to try out / review 10, but wanted to see if there are still some "big" issues unresolved before wiping out my system... Any recommendations? --

But, just b/c OpenSuse is built on OSS shouldn't mean it has to be difficult to install/interoperate with non-OSS software or so is my opinion. Gentoo is good at creating a seamless link in portage. I guess what it comes down to is that most users are going to install things like mp3 librar

It is possible to integrate mailing lists and forums... this is not a binary choice. That way an email to the list shows up under the thread subject in the forum and vice-versa (a post on the forum shoots out to the list...) I see no reason not to at least mirror these mailing list discussions
