Hi,
The "NetworkManager" is new to me (I don't know if it was in 10.1, but I
never installed that release) and I'm wondering what advantages or
trade-offs it entails. Is it recommended or preferred for all 10.2
installations? Because I was unfamiliar, I just went with
the "Traditional method w

Hello all
I installed openSUSE 10.2 b2 on an old PentiumIII at work which
uses an i810 chipset. The "yast" install ran in "ncurses" mode but it
ran ok. That is very notable because alot of live cds wouldn't even
start an xserver on the i810 chipset. Great work!
Since that worked out OK I decided
for tomorrow's meeting we have one topic so far:
Encrypted Home Partitions:
- Use dm-crypt and LUKS by default for newly encrypted
partitions
- Modify our existing cryptographic scripts to handle
dm-crypt/LUKS-based partitions
- For user'

I tried to sync my Palm 515 to korganizer.
(First was to create a backup using pilot-xfer)
Then I started korganizer and set it up to sync my palm (transfer pilot
to pc)
Then I had to start kpilotd by hand.
Then I pushed the sync button.
I had to wait more then one hour to see sync finished
Now all

I asked evolution to forget the passwords, and restarted it, without any progress tried a new installation, on an empty /home, and the same problem persists.
Here is the output from .xsession-errors:

A slightly unhelpful response perhaps, but it works for me.
Anything useful in .xsession-errors?

Hi guys,
Is just me or Evolution is not saving the passwords for IMAP and SMTP
accounts? The options are marked, but everytime I restart evolution, it
asks the passwords again.
