Hi,
Thanks for the help. I'd like to disable the server from being checked.
Disabling notifications is what we do now, but that means we have say 1000
hosts up, 20 down. Even if these are 'handled', it would be way nicer to
disable them.
Thanks,
Arthur

Nick,
If I understood your trouble correct, then on you opsview server do the
following:
cd /usr/local/nagios/libexec/
mkdir eventhandlers
chown nagios:nagios eventhandlers
cp /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe
/usr/local/nagios/libexec/eventhandlers
reload opsview configu
If you use nrpe with xinetd under linux, you can set allow_from in
/etc/xinetd.d/nrpe
If you use nrpe with nsclient++ under windows, you can set ip
restriction in nsc.ini

Hi
Is it possible to configure the agent to only accept connections for
a certain IP address?
Is this on *nix or MS Windows?

Ok I have more info about the Issue with our D-link switches (D-link
models DGS-1216T & DGS-1248T). One of the engineers has emailed me an
explanation of the exact issue; if anyone can assist in a solution I
would be very grateful.
The switches do support SNMP and Opsview can use some of the d
