Joseph, Following might help you. We have databases 8.1.6 on Solaris 2.7. On NT4 we have 8.0.4. We export user schema/tables from 816 and import the schema/tables into 804 on NT. Important things are: If your databases versions are same on both the machines, then use the same exp/imp software
