Core dumps on NT don't record any errors in the
alert.log the way they do on Unix platforms. They
will typically create a CORE.LOG file in either
bdump, udump or the default
%ORACLE_HOME%\RDBMS73\TRACE directory. If you're lucky
it will contain a stack trace that might be useful to
help
I recently rebuild several tables/indexes on a v7.3.3 database on nt 4.0
