The name suits. I never used the word " Insignificant" and the Rupicolous laelias are far from Insignificant. The MAJOR problem I have is that there is a lot of work being done by people with too much time on their hands pushing and pulling plants in different groups or families or whatever
The genus name Hoffmannseggella was proposed by Henry G. Jones.
It was published in
Acta Botanica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae 14: 69. 1968.
