Does anyone have any good sources for orchid books, both in-print and
out-of-print?
It seems that the new AOS web site doesn't sell orchid books anymore. It
was handy to be able to order books through them, especially with the 10%
discount.
It was particularly good if you didn't have a title
The Malibu Orchid Society is continuing to purge its library of duplicate and

For those who asked (there have been a few), I would like to
note that we decided to go through one last printing of the first

Hi Mike,
Yes, I was interested in something more than just a How To Grow guide. Rik

It covers basic weather/terrain as well a species. As I

Isn't that the one where the newest edition is endorsed by the AOS? It advocates humidity trays (a myth in the North), and shows a beautiful color picture of a gravel tray (wonderful f
In addition to Tom Hilson's advice to get Rebecca Northen's book I always
recommend Ortho's 'All About Growing Orchids'. Its cheap, can be found
anywhere - I've even seen it at Home Depot, and its jam packed with orchid
info and has many pictures. All that for about $12. How can you beat it?
Does anyone know where I can find a copy of "An
Introduction to the Cultivated Angraecoid Orchids of
Madagascar" by Hillerman and Holst? The book's been
out of print for a while now, and I can't seem to find
a copy anywhere. I'm willing to pay for one or trade
