Hi,
I have a web form which users use to send mail to helpdesk. Form inserts extra
information (for example: X-OTRS-TicketValue1: info1 X-OTRS-Priority: 4 high)
but for some reason I cannot use this information for categorizing messages.

Hi John,
I don't know CentOS, but maybe the OTRS package needs to see the Date::Format
module installed by yum (if that's what it is called on CentOS) and not via
CPAN. Or maybe you need to install a newer version via CPAN.

Dear All,
I came up with the quick search of some of the open source software's around
ITIL processes.
OTRS is natural choice and top leader among the open source category as you can
see this supports most of the ITIL processes.
Please let me know your feedback and alert me if you think there
Dear Sudhir,
OTRS of course has built-in functions to support SLM processes - even without
having the ITSM suite installed!

Dear All,
Just wanted to know if OTRS supports SLM process of ITIL.
Is there any built-in functionality within OTRS for supporting SLM?
Appreciate early response.

Dear Sudhir,
of course you should evaluate the previous version of OTRS, which is 2.4.9, and
has all the ITSM modules available :-)
But please do the valuation for OTRS 3.0 as well as we are close to release
stable ITSM modules for this lovely new state of the art OTRS version too !

Hi Ralf,
1) There's an "ivory" skin in the user preferences. It changes the colour to
blue.
2) Look in Admin -> SysConfig -> Group Ticket ->
Frontend::Agent::ToolBarModule. You can enable a lot of short cut icons there,
as well as fulltext search and stored search profiles on the tool bar. Ver

Hi Yuan,
Yes, it's possible.
This is probably the most asked question about OTRS. So look through the mail
archives and look at the documentation. Look for "Active Directory" and "LDAP".

We are planning to evaluate OTRS with the ITSM modules. I heard that
OTRS version 3.0 is not yet compatible with ITSM or vice-versa. Is it
correct? If this is correct, should we evaluate the older version of
