go into several tables and delete all relations between objects before
deleting objects. If you are deleting all tickets and everything in the
system then the best way is to drop database and create it again, otherwise

Hi,
i'm using old otrs 3.1.7 and there is around 170k tickets, that I need

takes around 5-10 second to delete one ticket and there is actually no
load on hardware (load average: 0.25, 0.20, 0.12), everything is idle.

Hi,
I'm a newbie to OTRS (just started using it today). I don't understand how I
can delete tickets?
In my Dashboard under New tickets I receive some junk emails and I want to
delete them right away.

I am using the Delete tickets option option in order to clear the Spam

In the OTRS manual is written:

How can i delete tickets
There is not a "delete this ticket" function, *ofcoarse not*. That's
one of the beauty features of OTRS. :-)
If you really want to delete tickets you can create a job for this.
For example, I have created a queue 'Spam' in which possible spam
tickets are moved.
I am newbie for OTRS. could somebody help me with
this.
How can i delete the tickets which are present in
the Queue (for eg. 'customer service').
Can it be done from the selectbox by writing the
query ? if so please tell me the query or is there any other options
?
