what I have found to be helpful,
go to google.com and restrict your search to lists.otrs.org with
site:lists.otrs.org
, additionally you could add "-CVS" to weed the CVS logs out..

I think when we continue to use the mailing list in the way it was designed,
and we answer directly to the thread, then we have continuity in an open
problem, but it can be that I just have newbie euphoria. Or maybe I do not
understand fully the needs of the whole.

The wiki is a good system from what I have seen, but again is a collaberative
nightmare when there is not someone who is ready and willing to take over
administratvie tasks for such.
