vaccination
I know that vaccination is an emotive issue,
and usually I keep my own convictions quiet, but has anyone been refused

I am employed by a public hospital and yes it is a condition
of employment but nobody asked me for proof of my immune status when I started.
How do they check? I am also allergic to Tet Tox so that's another one I'm not
protected for.
If I have a needlestick/splash I get tested

personal decision, carried on from that of my parents when I was a
child, not to be vaccinated but to use natural methods of protecting my immune
system. However, there was a big scare (a healthcare worker was diagnosed with
Hepatitis B and they recalled all the mothers and babies that had been

I am currently doing my midwifery and am undertaking an assignment on
Hepatitis B. Does anyone know of any literature either supporting or not
supporting vaccination immediately following birth?
