In shuffling some files around on my harddrive, somehow, I managed to get my
device to issue the "Failed to connect to remote" error message while I was
downloading/debugging various demo apps that worked perfectly before my
shuffle.
I am using CW6, PalmOS3.1, Win98SE and hotsync works

I too was getting frustrated by the CW debugger not connecting to POSE. I
kept getting the 'Failed to connect' message. I resolved the problem by
turning off Norton Internet Security 2000 on my PC. Turned out Norton was
blocking the connection because it interpreted it as an Explorer T

Today, the second day I could not debug my program using CW6 on POSE(Palm Emulator).
If I try to debug my application, it says
failed to connect to remote" with this log message:
CmdReadRemoteMem: error in SlkReceivePacket =
Serial Link timeout.

I have CW release 6 running under Win2000. When I try to debug with the
device or with POSE, I get the message "Failed to connect to remote".
Normal HotSyncing works fine, HSM is not running, and the app isn't running
on the device. I've tried different baud rates. I
