ErrThrow, defined in the PalmOS headers. There does not appear to be
a significant hit to program size. Since they allow you to throw a
32-bit value, I encode the Palm OS error code in the lower 16 bits,

could downgrade OS versions) and then have an expensive paper weight.
Find someone with an older Palm for sale. I keep at least 1 of every model
for OS compatibility testing (my apps also use the serial port heavily).
Rather than reflashing your Palm everytime you wanted to
try a new version, I would suggest using the Palm OS Emulator
(POSE) ... a Palm device simulator that runs on your development
machine. You must join the dev program and submit some paperwork
in order to be able to download the different

the main form. To manage the overall size of this set of buttons I have a
gadget which overlaps the buttons. On all OSes other than 3.5, this works
fine. But on Palm OS 3.5, the buttons which overlap the gadget

Keep in mind that the Symbol 1740 is a Palm OS(r) device with
a built in 802.11 radio LAN. It also does a pretty good job of
minimizing battery usage, which seems to be a problem with CE
devices with local radios.And because it is built-in, there is no
external antenna!

3.1, Hotsync 3.1 and Palm OS 3.5 (french releases), I found the next
solution :
- First :
- shut Hotsync down.
- edit the following registry key

If this is the same one that was being touted last year, it also had the
problem of being PC only.
