It sounds like you may be interested in a program called TextAloud.
This program allows you to convert a text file directly into an MP3 file
that you can then download to a portable player.
There are a number of voices you can choose so you wouldn't need to record
your speech
Using Nero to copy a CD
1. You can configure Nero to present the new compilation dialogue in
preferences. To do this:
a. Press Alt + F to open the File Menu.
b. Arrow down to Preferences and press enter

If you tend to create compilations from MP3 tracks stored on your hard drive
I would recommend MP3GAIN. This is a free program and is the only program
I've been happy with doing this task as normalisation is not quite the same
thing as setting volume levels to be the same.

This is a pretty loaded question as there are many factors and preferences
to be taken into account.
Personally, I rip using the Lame MP3 encoder at 320kbps. This gives me as
close to CD quality as possible and I have plenty of hard disc so don't have
to worry about file sizes.

CD quality. Maybe I'm not sure, but when I went into Soundforge, it classed
128 K as CD quality.

Hi all, I had a strange thing happen to me while I was streaming, and
want to ask about it, and that is, that I had been streaming since 13
minutes after noon, so, it becme 22 minutes after 7, which meant I had
been streaming for 7 hours, and so, I wanted to wrap up the stream, and
play my 21 song
when your pc rebooted
the file got damaged that is why it was 0 kb
