Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is well this evening.
I just wanted to ask, I have some sets of 4-track cassetts that I would like to

Okay, first of all don't install the firm wear on the archos that comes w/
the unit, that's not acessible. Rockbox isv very accessible, I've used my

there is a FAQ for blind users. I have the Archos studio 20 recorder.

I don't know if they still make it or not, but I have a compact flash MuVo
from Creative Labs. I got it a year or two ago. It has 256M of flash
space. It has no display, so it's obviously quite accessible. It also
doesn't come with or need any PC software to transfer the files to the
MuVo.
Hi all!
I have some questions about the rockbox firmware. I'm getting an archos on
Saturday and I want to have all of the facts straight. What are the advantages
of using the rockbox firmware as opposed to the firmware that comes with the
machine? What makes the Archos accessible? Can I buy the
Let me try to clarify. If I understand MP3 players, there are two basic
types of storage: one uses flash memory with no moving parts; the other
uses a hard drive which spins just like a computer hard drive and holds
greater amounts of storage. I thought the Archos players were of the

Thanks, yes, I am aware of RockBox but isn't that solely for hard drive
based players? I'm specifically intersted in lower-priced flash
players. Any further recommendations from anyone?
