OK, here's some more things you might like to know about Octiv.
First, their web site's main page is not very descriptive--a buncha
links with no meta tags, so you have to try each one to figure out

I was wrong to compare StreamSolo with (or to) the SAM Encoders.
StreamSolo allows just that--one stream--whereas the Sam Encoders
module permits multiple streams of differing bit- and sample-rates as

is true for previous folder except you change from right nav to left nav.

Is it like sound solution? That's a bear of a plugin, too to get right.
There seems to not be much for media player and other stuff like XM online,
where the levels really are out of control to need it. I hate to put money
down on virtual cables, as before I start everything up, jaws wouldn't sp
well thats how you do it. when you enter that name it is burned to the cd.
Help me if I am just dumb missing the point. I would think that entering
artist and title at that point would place that name on the cd.

Wonder then what wolffm is using? I think they do some of the stuff sam
boasts of with syndicated shows, and they use media player, in the abbacast
plugin. You get the info in media player when using it this way of what's on
and the like. It seems that Sam has gotten so popular lately.

get hung and I would think they would have corected the problem by now. What

If you do a track press and then a quick press and hold the player will
change folders. The player works best with the wired remote because it has
the folder keys built in. I wish the iriver had seporate folder keys or that
you could set the track buttons in folder mode when you need it.
Oh, isn't that sort of what radio does? They over-emphasize the highs so it
can be undone in a receiver to sound somewhat normal? It just doesn't seem
worth what it'd take to buy a processor to cut the highs out of Sirius
enough that when the preamp puts it back in it sounds normal.

and jfw together with eloq. when I record, and after I check the title bar
after a few seconds, jfw has trouble picking up the voice, and it bogs down
for a while now. Jonathan, if you had the same problem with cooledit, p
