Thanks. Glad to know it's not just me. I've been thinking of disabling
the card in bios and getting a relatively cheap card to use instead.
Again, thanks.

i am in the market for a good high quality microphone that can be used on the
computer and with other mike sources other then the computer so what i want is
a microphone that can be very veristile in what it can do, meanning picking up
music when recording it your self or chatting on the compute
I also have that problem in my soundmax card. It always happens when my
screenreader JAWS is on. That's the only soundcard I have here. When my
sisters use the comp, and the JAWS is off, I never have that kind of
problem. I think, it is because it is built-in soundcard.

Hello
That didn't help; it stil shows the webpage when I open, even though the
option is set for my library. Btw where is the "meedia browser"? I have it
detached but it stil doesn't show in a seperate window. And when I'm the
burn window it loses focus on the tracks listview.
thanks,
Tyler

Go into Tools and then to Preferences and set your opening page in the
first tab. You can set it to CD Burning/Transfer or to the music store.
I think that will help.

Hi,
I'm using jaws 7.0. I installed real player, and I found out that iether the
focus was lost or a webpage like "real guide" popped up when I opened the
program. I was trying this program out for burning cds, and I'd used it before
with jfw 5.1. I stil have that version of jfw on this compute
PNY manufactures them. They also make thumb drives and I think they make
compact flash cards (?)

I can't understand why you feel that adding a pci audio card to your system
will void your warrantee. This is a very common thing to do. Disabling
your on board audio from within your computers bios does not void any
warrantee that I have heard of, nor does adding a pci card of any kind

How can Ots let you talk over music and not get the speech on the air if the
what you hear has to be used to do mixing like this? Or will these programs
let you use the USB mic to plug into the windows mixer. I doubt the API
exists to make a USB mic that just adds itself to the main volume contr

No, this isn't possible because Windows treats the USB microphone as a
separate sound card from your regular sound card. You'll need to use a
microphone that is not USB, and then you will need a second sound card or
external speech for your screen reader. However, the soon to be released

Hello friends,
I hope that you all had a good weekend.
I picked up a Creative Labs Audidgy card at the weekend and was just
wondering if anyone can help me out with a few questions please?
As far as I can tell, it is an Audigy 1 card, does MS-Windows XP SP2
have a driver for it?

I would check directly with iRiver for an H320.

To be honest, I bought the card second hand, there was nothing with it
