I'll hang on for you then, if we do get stuck I can still ask my cousin
though, he's a distant one actually, found him through the family history
but he's mighty handy to know, works on mail and web servers for his living.

When I try to play a dvd, I hear skipping. The dvds are new so it can't be
that. I tried using one of those discs with the brushes to clean the cd rom but
I still have the same problem. It was suggested to me that I may need to just
buy a new cd rom. What do you all think? Thanks.
never quite experienced that but, sounds like time for a new one smile.

Hi sharon,
Before you break down and spend cash on a new rom burner, you should try
using a laser lens cleaner on it. It will save you a bunch of headaches and
should take care of the skipping problem. You can grab one from radio shack,
or the electronics department of any store like best
Hi Trace,
yeah, they work on a computers CD-rom drive in the same manner.

I had the 660 for two weeks and after reading the manual, I made the
following decision:
The 660 uses three profiles, in which every menu item is set. One can
set a recording source, automatic or manual recording level
Just wanted to find out a little bit about the machine in question, as the
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Canada is using these machines quite
extensively in the field. Can't understand why they didn't go with the R09
at half the price. Up to this point they were using the Sony mini

Hi Nick,
I suggest that the lady buy a new CD burner, rather buying cleaners, which
doesn't work, and money that she could have put towards a new burner.

If you could put 32 gigs on an SD card, that would be great!

I sometimes worry that a laser lens cleaner might not be safe in a cd or DVD
computer drive because they spin so fast. Most drives run at normal speed
when a standard music cd is running and I think the cleaners look like an
audio disk to the player. However, I had a plugin for Winamp that
