new version is out.

Don,
Adrian beat me too it. This is the only such resource I know of. I found it a
few months ago, when I was researching HD Radio. Unfortunately, based on what I
was told by my favorite stereo salesman, there aren't yet any good HD
receivers/tuners on the market, for less than four figures.
Hi Bruce.
Can't speak for that ripper specifically as I don't use it. However, I've
seen this with other rippers, namely CDEX and media player. Typically,
you've got a dirty or scratched disc. The extra time taken is either error
correction going on to try and compensate, if you have that
Well, I haven't heard HD but I have had a lot of information that the FM
quality isn't that much better, and the AM HD sounds like an average Windows
Media feed, not to mention that signals can be heard to get.

Hi Tim,
There is also something for the pcr called XtreMe PCR out there and it
gives signal strength etc as well as station info.
If you want the original software please contact me privately.

Hi, Dana.
Actually, my favorite tabletop radio is the Boston Acoustics HD Receptor,
which comes with a satellite speaker for first-rate stereo production. It's
true that stations can be hard to tune into and that you must wait an
annoying five seconds for HD channels to play, but the sound
Chuck,
I think the information you have been given is correct. there is a marked
improvement in the sound of the AM, but if your market only has one AM station
broadcasting a digital signal, which is turned off at night, it isn't worth the
expense of the radio. also to a middle aged person
I have this radio and yes the FM or HD band sounds great but the AM band and
reception is absolutely horrid! Don't get it if you like AM radio.

Are there scripts which will work better with Winamp 5.33 than the default ones
supplied with JAWS 8?
Thanks.

What's wrong with the default scripts? Aside fromt he library issue, which
I understand to be a Winamp problem not a script problem, the default
scripts are nothing short of fabulous.

What you're looking for on that page is a button. I think it will say 'full
button' or full version button'. However, If I remember right, the B
navigation key does not pick it up. You're having trouble because what you
want is buried in that table describing all the versions and features.
I am now using Winamp 5.3 and have resolved some issues I had, however I do
notice a difference in the way things work with the Playlist now that I have
installed the latest small update to Jaws 8.01.1177U

Hi Anders,
Yes, alt+shift is windows shortcut to cycle throu the installed keybords.
If you have only Swedish and US, you can switch to US, and with the same
alt+shif you can back to Swedish keyboard. It's so easy.
Good luck!

Bruce,
Absolutely, and I should have remembered from previous postings. Related
question, which has also been asked and answered. As I recall, JAWS 8, which
I use, incorporates Winamp scripts. However, the White Stick website also
makes JAWS scripts available. Should I download those,
I'd sugest that you try things as they are first. The only things those
scripts will do for you is, I'm told, make the library more accessible.
Since I never use the library, I'm absolutely no authority on this
subject.

Has anyone tried Songbird yet? I was optimistic when I heard about it
because I find Firefox and Thunderbird so accessible, but I didn't have
as much luck with Songbird yet. I haven't reported any accessibility
problems yet, I'm not sure where to start, but I wanted to get others
opinions and
