I am extracting the audio from a movie at a constant bitrate of 128 KBPS. It
is taking a long time, and when I extracted one at a variable bitrate, even
though it was a larger file size when done, it didn't take as long. Is this
normal?

Quite a few battery manufacturers now produce rechargeables, which
discharge much slower than earlier ones. Sanyo were the first, their
slow dischargers are called Eneloop.
I see an option to change, resolution? by default, it's set to five
seconds. What is it and are there advantages to changing the setting?

I've been using GoldWave for a long while and am now using version 5.19.
This is happening on 2 computers, so it's either me or GoldWave, not the
hardware.
In my work, one of the things I do is to divide vinyl albums into separate
tracks after transferring them to the computer. Once
I believe this is probably a simple issue, but I'm having trouble finding
the solution in Sound Forge eight's PDF manual.
I want to divide trakds after transferring them from a vinyl album to the
computer. Up to now, I've performed the task in GoldWave, which, as
mentioned in another post,
goldwave will do the job.

I tried that once, and found that it didn't work to well.
But 20 years ago, this was in a stereo that used a power amp for a car
stereo system.
It required about 7.2 ampyears of currant and about 18 volts to power it.
Witch came from 10 D batteries.

I remember those boom boxes from JVc. I used to have one like yours that had
tucked away in the corner, a little 2 inch tv screen. it was a nice piece. the
heavist boom box I remember was a singer. the speakers alone must have wayed
about
15 pounds a piece. I know the rechargabler batteries
