Hi scott, you can go to the microsoft site and get the windows media encoder which will convert the file from avi to windows media audio (WMA) and depending on what encoder software you have convert the (WMA) files to mp3. It's a long way to do it but I don't know of any straight avi to mp3

I would like to get clarifification on this. GoldWave converts the .avi file into mp3. Correct? Replay Converter and Switch gets the actual audio file from the .avi file? The reason I'm asking this, is because I'd like a program to get the audio file from the video file without converting it.

Can anyone tell me of a program that will allow me to take any video file like mov, avi, mp4 or the like and make a DVD disk that will play in my DVD player? I know files can be saved as data files on a DVD, but I need to save them in a DVD format. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks much,
