Ok, a couple of things here just to make the discussion a little
clearer, do you want to actually control the amp or the receiver from
the computer? If that's what you want to do then I'm lead to believe
that some of the more expensive Amps and receivers allow connection
via a LAN or Wi-FI
Someone said, on your previous topic, to hit alt enter on the list of
selected tracks and make that there time between tracks 0. Or frames, or
whatever it is- its been a while now. Have you tried it? You didn't specify
that, so you might want to try that before you post something else in a new
Well, it could be a burner issue, some burners don't like burning a cd with
no silence between them, god knows why. I have a 7 year old burner here that
does it just fine. I picked up a newer lg one and tried it, with no luck,
just to see if it could be a hardware issue, I'm using nero 8.

No, not for a very long time but I know they make superb equipment,
I'm thinking of purchasing one of their DAB tuners actually.

Ok a small note to this if I may, I bought a Pioneer Surround-Sound
receiver and its set up here with no sighted assistance whatever,
grant you I had to read the manual a few times but all the menu system
was set out in the manual in its correct order.
Second to this, I know of someone who h

Hi there.
I have tried it on both.
Interestingly enough I have installed nero on another machine with a different
burner and after just simply creating an audio cd and checking no pause between
tracks, it tells me I need a cdrw disk instead of a cdr disk.
I am starting to think I may need a re
hi folks,
is there some cool easy way to merge many files together into one large file
with sound forge?
Here is the scenaryo:
I have about 200 small wav files I want to melt into one large file. They're
logically numbered like file01 file02 file99 and so on.
Can you do something with this batc
I do still see their components listed at a number of retailers.
Perhaps they're going more and more specialty.

I have an Onkyo stereo receiver that I like a lot. It's a little
difficult to set up without sighted help, but once set up it works well
with the remote or manually. It has 100 watts per channel, inputs for
xm radio as well as a built in am/fm radio and has cd, aux, phono and a
couple of tape inp
how about Rotell, they used to make good receivers with knobs.

Hi,
I have a Denon that I really like. However, as with most of the new stereo
receivers, you do need some sighted assistance to get things set up the way
you want them. But, after that, it is easy to use. You need to go
somewhere and checkout the controls of various units before buying. Bu
yes, thanks very much
Got one more question
have you had any experience with the Onkyo systems?

Hello again.
Well I tried it the way you suggest and it didn't work but wait! there is more.
Nero put up an error message saying that in the current write mode some of the
audio properties are not supported by your burner. It then said that if I
clicked ok it would adjust the properties to fit
Have you tried selecting all the files on your burn list and then you can go
into properties by pressing alt enter. Make your adjustments from there.
That's what I do and it seems to work fine.

Haven't done it exactly that way but will try.
I forgot to mention I also tried track at once and it still didn't work.
Weird.
I also wanted to apologize for the duplicate message, The first one didn't go

List members may find news of this multi-track recording and editing
software interesting.
Accessibility has not been a strong point for the software in version 5 but,
maybe, some enterprising script writer may like to take up the challenge of
making version 6 easy to use.

Well this sounds like a real novice question and thats ok but believe me its
not, or at least I don't think so.
I did some audio editing in Goldwave cutting sections from large audio files
and breaking them out to several small files.
I made sure each cut was trimmed nicely removing any silence
Ok Guys and girls heres a strange one for you.
I need to create an audio cd with track marks but no silence between tracks and
that one trakc plays automaticly right after the other without pauses silence
or needing to hit the track switch.
I started out by editing some large audio files and ta

Exactly what Gary says here. They won't cut it for what I need them for
