Hi, I'm new to the list my name is Kevin and I am totally blind and a jaws user. Was wondering if u guys know whether there is any accessible programme that would allow me to record sounds directly from my pc's internal sound card. Sounds such as audio streams from the net. Thanks in advance Kev

I like Format Factory. You can change the format of any audio, video, or photo. You can rip cd's and DVD's. Get it at: www.pcfreetime.com You do have to use the mouse cursor to choose what you want to do but then the dialog speaks with JAWS. Dean

I used to use Replay converter. I don't have it on this machine, so I can't give you any more information than that right now. It isn't free. I still have an older version of Replay converter on another system, but I pretty much switched over to using Switch exclusively for this now. -- Chris

I use the media library in Winamp with JFW 11 all of the time, although I'm generally just accessing the local media content and podcasts. I don't have a lot of success with the rest of the remote media content. I'm also not aware of any scripts for JAWS that make accessing this content any bet
