hi, hmm already tried that, and no matter which card i select, jfw hangs on to the sound blaster card which is the default playback caard selected in control panel. under that setting in jfw11 i have, windows default, soundblaster, playback through total recorder, and realtek hd audio output,

hi again, just add a bit more to this, very strangely, if i go into control panel, and change my default card to the onboard realtek card, then all system sounds andmedia players change to use the realtek card, but jfw won't, it still sticks like glue to the s.b card, even though in the jfw.ini

is this when JAWS loads as a service, or when you load it from a shortcut in the start menu? Every Time I start my computer, jaws always runs to my SB card. to fix it, I have to unload JAWS and reload it from the shortcut and it works flawlessly. support knows about it, and have not found a fix
