When using VAC I have the following setup
audio repeater 1: wave in (line 1 vac) | wave out main sound card
Audio repeater 2: wave in (microphone) | wave out (line1 vac)
skype: recording is set to line1 vac
With this set up I'm getting a delayed echo. How can I get rid of the echo?

Hi, If I got it correctly, you hear echo because you told repeater 1 to
repeat whatever goes on the cable into your main soundcard. So, there's
no way of getting rid of that with this setup. You probably need 2
cables to do that. Send skype in the second cable (line 2) then send
line 2 and
So am I going to have 3 audio repeaters open?
When you speak of recording device are you saying I should set the sound
card of my pc's record tab to line 1?

Hello,
Nice post I couldn't agree more I have not played for over 10 years now!
I tried a while ago but sounded so rusty that i gave up the instrument
was crap as well and my fingers were about haning off after half an hour
but I couldn't add any more nicely put.

another problem has arisen. I cannot set a second or third cable. the
control pannal is stating that an active process is using it. I have no clue
which process is being spoken of.

I have found that if you get thicker strings 12 gauge they don't hurt your
fingers as much when practicing. Can't use them on a classical guitar.

Hi, before adding an extra cable, turn off whatever software could be
using the cable for example skype.
Best regards,

I guess this doesn't have much to do with pc audio, but: I'd like to ask
for a suggestion. I know a few chords on the guitar and I'm gonna try to
follow the Bill Brown course for beginners. I bought an acoustic big
hollow-body guitar and a rummage sale. It's tough to play because the
I tried your suggestion and it almost worked. Yes, it did get rid of the
echo. Where I ran into a problem was playing a file in winamp. the people on
skype could here what I played but I couldn't.

Always use direct sound output, you can't go wrong, unless your
recording program needs to use it at the same time Winamp is using
it. In that case, one of the programs is gonna win. That's when you
need to use wave output when running Winamp, at least temporarily.
The volume control is in
Evening all,
Just thought I'd give some feed back on the LS 100 as a multi track
recorder. While it is true that the multi track options are not
spoken, the recorder is set up so that a different pitch beep is heard
when arrowing up or down through tracks. Also, the function keys are
numbered and
This is good news. Though, I think that for completion's sake if nothing
else, they should fix that. Can you bounce tracks easily? I don't even
really know what it means, but I know it's a multi track thing so, I just
wandered. I'd really love one of these recorders. For the full Blu-Ray 96000
