Hi Brian,
I have not noted this error in particular however,
I have had problems converting DRM files into .wav format.
The process will take the usual several hours or so but in the end the wav
file will not play or allow for conversion into MP3 format. I don't seem to
have this issue if I
list.

That was an older version. I had something similar happen to my laptop, but
luckily a system restore worked. They've since fixed the issue. I installed
it on the same laptop with no mishaps.

Tried that already and could not get that to work on WMP 11. If you have
any hints by all means let us know...Keith

Ok, what version of sound Taxi was this. That was exactly the same problem
I had when I installed it on my Sony desktop and not even the system restore
saved my but because it also trashed something with my cdrom drives. That
was a long long time ago

You do need Soundtaxi if you want to burn Netlibrary books because WMP
doesn't split a large file up into CD unit sizes, but an Overdrive audio
book is split up into individual parts that will each fit on a CD.

Hi,
Try converting it to wav then using goldwave to MP3. It may be your choice
of bitrate that is causing your problem.

The mp3 files it creates are variable bit files. With some playback
software that's a problem. Have it create a .wav file first and use
something else to create a .mp3.

Thanks. That's a good idea, but wouldn't that take up a huge amount of space
if I was converting, say, an eight hour long audio book?

Hi again
I like Sound Taxi but became concerned when I found that I could not totally
trust it. Recently however using less resources it seems more stable. The
problem is that of course when you do a 13 hour book you can't be sure

I had an interesting problem with sound taxi platnum. When I installed it,

noticed it installed a sound driver of it's own. But, on this new
