problem with folder structure in library
hi listers. when i hit shift l to open a folder in winamp everything is
fine. when i hit it again it shows me the last folder i opened but that
is the
only one in the showing in the main folder. i hope this makes sence. it

I have reinstalled Winamp a couple of times. I have the latest version. I
have added my music folder with all of the subfolders to the library. I've
done this many times because it doesn't seem to be adding it. I even tried
to do it by importing it from the ITunes database. When I open the library,

I'm also using Winamp version 5.552 and immediately before writing this
message I started Winamp and opened the library and I was able to go
through the list of bookmarks in the library and play them as you
describe in your message. While not all of the Winamp library is
accessible

full version and that version did have the library in it.
So maybe that will fix your problem.

One way to thwart the nag screens in winamp, at least this works with
5.32, is to re-launch winamp from a desktop icon or keyboard
shortcut. this restores the main screen and the nag message doesn't
seem to reappear.

Well, I've long thought the winamp library was rather useless, aside from

managing and editing bookmarks, and, since I learned how to edit winamp.bm

Does Winamp have any way of categorizing within the library? That is,
if I could, I'd load all my music into it, choose a category, and let
'er go, playing random tracks until it runs outa stuff to play. But I
don't see any good way of doing this. Am I missing something, or am I
