Dean, there is no unit with which one can correct errors in MP3 files easyly. All the recorders with which one can do that use DSS (digital speech standard). The only recorders with wich one can at least divide an MP3 file are the Sanyos, (ICR-B180NX for instance). As much as I know, they're a bit

What are my choices for a portable device that I can use for voice recordings using an external mike (56 KBPS mp3,) which I could transfer to a pc for editing if need be? I would like to be able to make simple voice corrections, that is, record over a part I just recorded and want to change.
