is someone else having the problem not being able to download firmware
patches/updates? ( http://www.sun.com/servers/x64/x4150/downloads.jsp or
139435-06. I can download normal patches. Funny stuff does my contract
now restrict me only to download Firmware for a systems that is
associated wit

There is a new entitlement acording to:
http://wikis.sun.com/display/SunSolve/How+Entitlement+Works#entitlements
You need HardwareUpdates - Allows access to firmware,drivers,
to get firmware.
I don't have that :(
Time to find out how to get that into my old Support Contract.

I've just checked and I can fetch the T1000 firmware update (139435-06).
We do have hardware contracts but none for that particular system.

There is essentially Hardware Support (now provided by Oracle Premium
System Plans and by Warranty) and Software Support (now provided by
Oracle Premium Software Plan & Oracle Premium Operating System Plan).

just a small Update on the Firmware Topic:
I found a System that still has hardware warranty ( Thanks to the X4150
which has a 3 Year Warranty :) )
and called the Support and asked them for the warranty Number as
