Thanks, folks, there's a lot to think about there.
Another workshop this evening, so we'll see what we find most useful.
Yeah, the lack of a subject was a sheer accident on my part.

According to the thread Thibault linked to, it has to do with the CPU
scaling of your computer. In your System Preferences, under Energy

least that is where I find it). If it reads "Automatic" or "Reduced"
instead of "Highest
I don't know. But it works with pd, not only GEM.
But I guess that the processor has a variable frequency, and that pd doesn't
explain to the "macOSX-demon" what he needs, at the right time. So I don't
think that it works with Microsoft Office, for example...

And if you come across some tweaks to the Makefile that would make the

Hmm... I don't think people have had much trouble if you use the
packages. Right now, there is really mostly a Debian/Ubuntu package,
but it is getting much much easier to package things, so now is the
time to work on packaging for other distros.

Oh, good point, guess it makes sense only for those who are already going to
the event, or is funded by school or grant ;P it's not like PdCon, huh? So,
by hoping you could make it, you think NYU would back you up? Cheers
With pd-gui-rewrite, this behavior works better. It remembers the
last place you opened and the last place you saved and uses them as
the defaults.
