I have a Ritz Camera Quantary 70-300 zoom (which I

Actually that reminds me of my trip to Western
Australia about 5 years ago. I was tramping (hiking)
on this fairly deserted walking track on the outskirts
of Bunbury with my Spotmatic over my shoulder, and
this guy in a car asked if I would like to go with him
and take some photos. I can guess wha

Good question! I live in NYC and I've walked around with my camera
around my neck with no problem. Heck, the tourists do it. :) I even
took my tripod out to a park and hiked with it for two hours, and
no one disturbed me. Granted, so far I've only done it in areas where
there were a lot of peopl

I just bought Soligor Power Winder for manual focus Pentaxes, and I
encounter some strange problems with it. Have Pentax ME.
Shutter behaves odd when winder and camera are set to "Auto": it locks open
for up to 30 seconds, when lightmeter shows 1/125 and longer, and at 1/1000
it seems to shu

I was looking for a used Pentax 28mm lens when I found the A 1:2 28mm for
$133.
Is that a little expensive for this lens or is it a good deal?

How do you remove all the legs? On mine, only one leg
unscrews, and a head can be screwed into the top of the leg.
The leg can also be used for storing the handles.

SMC K 50 1.4 and a Vivitar 90 2.5 macro. I don`t have a true macro

1550 case and padlock it. I have a chain that I can use to attach it
to something solid, or to the roofrack of a bus or whatever.
When I'm using the equipment I try to minimise the amount I carry,
