I think yes - depending on what was in the background to the right of the
flower barrel, had you moved to the left you could have omitted the vehicle
parked on the left by the fence, and the 3 buildings in the background.

A few years back (way before in the internet), I picked up what for me was
an ususual Pentax Spotmatic. It had a mirror lockup switch on the camera's
right side. I got it from KEH. Whoever owned it wanted a way to lock up
thee mirror and had Pentax install a switch to allow it.

I just got my new rangefinder, and I want
to start using it to shoot black and white
print film. Is there a particular brand/type that
is better than others? I don't want to sound like

Call me heretic, but you might want to look at the manual Ricoh
bodies. The XR-2 is particularly impressive, and typically sells for a

I ordered my FA* 600 4.0 today & doing research on tripod/head combination to use
with it. The largest tripod/head combination I now have is the Manfrotto 075/268
(Bogen 3036/3038) which I know will not be adequate for this lens.

Maybe some of the K mount clones of the Yashica FX-3 have the
MLU when the self-timer starts, but surely they do not have a
true MLU.

Exactly, graywolf. Manually setting the EI or ISO on the flash
(overriding the data transmitted from the camera) works in TTL as well as in
Auto. If there's no way to change the setting on the flash, then it
becomes complicated.
